Over the last couple of years, I’ve worked to support the staff and pupils in numerous schools as part of their wellbeing programs. The focus has been on yoga and relaxation in particular using meditation, breathing techniques and Yoga Nidra to relieve tension and help maintain focus. Notably as schools and colleges have returned back to in person teaching anxiety levels have risen. My work has helped improve the mood amongst staff and pupils and provided a regular space to relax and reset as everyone re-adjusts back to a conventional routine. One of my clients won a wellbeing award in the Borough of Sefton for their innovative approach supporting wellbeing.
