About Sarah
I’ve always been an active person with a keen interest in sports and fitness. I did ballet, tap, modern and jazz dancing until I was 18 which first gave me an understanding of the importance of flexibility and movement. My awareness of how to use the breath effectively to control anxiety and enhance focus came as I gained my PADI open water diving qualification. I love the outdoors and hill walk & paddle board (when the weather and schedule permits). I’ve also run multiple 10K’s and half marathons such as the Liverpool 10K and the Great North Run.
I fell in love with yoga back in 2018 when I began to attend classes just for my own fitness. I quickly discovered yoga was the sweet spot that brought together all of the benefits from my previous activities, strength, balance, stamina, and flexibility. Before my family (or my bank balance) knew what had hit it I had booked myself onto a yoga teacher training course in India. I travelled to India and trained with some very well known & respected teachers to get my 200-hr Ashtanga Vinyasa teacher training qualification. I just love everything about yoga and how it can change people’s lives and fitness. I’ve subsequently continued my learning by taking a tonne of courses since my first YTTC, including Rocket Yoga Teacher training which is what I practice myself on a regular basis and absolutely love. I have also specialised in Yoga Sports Science, as I have a real passion for helping transform the mobility, stability and flexibility of everyone from those who just want to improve their overall health & fitness or recover from an injury using a tailor-made yoga practice right through to elite sports professionals.

I just also would like to add here that I couldn’t have done any of this if it wasn’t for a very supportive and patient family! They’ve backed me all the way and understand when I disappear to do yet another course or go on a retreat that I really cannot miss!!
